On September 19, 2007, Golden Band Resources Inc. and the Lac La Ronge Indian Band announced jointly the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Band and Golden Band at a news conference in La Ronge, Saskatachewan. Additionally, Golden Band Resources Inc. and the Kitsaki Procon Joint Venture announced the signing of a General Services Agreement between their organizations. During the Press Conference, Rodney Orr, President & CEO of Golden Band and Chief Tammy Cook-Searson or the Lac La Ronge Indian Band spoke of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and the historic Business Agreement between Kitsaki Procon Joint Venture and Golden Band Resources. City Company Sees Potential for Gold Mine

A Saskatoon company is getting ready to do some preliminary work in the La Ronge gold belt that could lead to a relatively low-cost mine that has a potential of producing 100,000-plus ounces of gold from ore located within 50 to 100 metres of surface.
