Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Administration Assistant must be prepared to work in a dynamic role where organization, cheerfulness and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are essential for success. The key functions and responsibilities of the position include:
• Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member.
• Meet and greet clients and visitors.
• Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.
• Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: data entry, photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
• Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system.
• Sign for and distribute mail and courier package.
• Setup and coordinate meetings and conferences.
• Support staff in assigned project based work.
• Other duties as assigned.
To succeed in this challenging position, you will require:
• Broad experience working in an office environment..
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type 50 wpm.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills
