This newly created position will report to the Vice President of Operations and play a key role in developing and achieving corporate safety objectives for exploration, development and production. The key functions and responsibilities of the position include:
- Preparation of safety management programs to meet company safety targets and objectives.
- Development and implementation of a safety management system to administer company safety policies, programs and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and legislation.
To succeed in this challenging position, you will require:
- Minimum 10 years safety management experience with at least 5 years exposure within the resources industry at an operational level.
- Extensive knowledge of best practices in health and safety procedures, legislation and management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Current CRSP certification
