This newly created position will report to the Vice President Finance and play a key role in developing human resource policy and services during the exploration, development and production stages. The key functions and responsibilities of the position include:
- Development and implementation of a human resource policy, practice and procedures in line with company business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and legislation.
- Development of continuous improvement concepts to enhance employee recruitment and retention.
- Development and implementation of employee training and succession planning activities.
To succeed in this challenging position, you will require:
- Extensive human resource management experience gained within the resources industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of codes of practice, legislation and best practices.
- Excellent organisational, negotiating and communication skills.
- Experience with cultural diversity, especially with First Nations and Metis workforces and business development.
