Reporting to the Chief Geologist, the Senior Resource Geologist must be prepared to work in a dynamic role where environmental, safety and production results are essential for success. The key functions and responsibilities of the position include:
- Planning of resource definition drilling programs in conjunction with site project geologists and exploration geologists;
- Management of a large geological database to generate new exploration and resource definition targets.
- Geological modeling and resource estimation on both new and existing geological resources, and updating or contributing to Technical Reports.
- Provide leadership in the training and professional development of team members.
To succeed in this challenging position, you will require:
- Minimum 8 years experience in resource modelling and field exploration or resource definition drilling.
- Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
- Underground and open pit mining experience would be advantageous.
- Advanced knowledge of Surpac™ and AutoCad™ software.
This is a full time position based at our corporate office in Saskatoon however the position will require frequent travel to our northern project and exploration sites in Saskatchewan.
