This newly created position will report to the Operations Manager and will play a key role in overseeing the construction, development and production stages of the Bingo gold deposit. The key functions and responsibilities of the position include:
- Management of site safety and environmental targets and compliance.
- Supervision of all site personnel, including contractors.
- Management of project plans and schedules, cost projections and long term mining strategy.
- Provide technical expertise in development and production activities for a narrow vein open stoping operation.
To succeed in this challenging position, you will require:
- 10 years senior supervisory experience within the mining industry at an operational level.
- Extensive experience with narrow vein underground mining.
- Excellent project management skills, specific to underground operations.
- Professional Engineer or Geoscientist designation.
This is a full time position based at our northern sites in Saskatchewan
